Welcome to the Findlay Area Golf Association website as we go into our 46th year!!  Join us for the best junior golf tour in the area!!

Over the years we have encouraged both GIRLS and BOYS to participate, and now we have a good representation in all age groups. We encourage those who have participated in the past to spread the word and bring new players into our events.

Sure we like to see good scores; but, that's not only what FAGA is about! We encourage participation to just "have a great time, learn how to play, learn the game of golf and it's rules, and carry this great experience throughout the rest of your life!"  If you have any further questions regarding the events, registration, or in general, please feel free to contact us.

Update for 2020 Season:

Dear FAGA Players & Parents,

The FAGA will be continuing the 2020 season as scheduled. Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic and our concern for player health we will be implementing strict social distancing requirements. The below requirements will be in effect for the first 2 events (Shady Grove & Birch Run GC) at a minimum.

  • Maximum 3 players/group.
  • Increased start time between age groups and pairings (please see updated schedule).
  • Mandatory 6 ft social distancing between all participants and attendees.
  • No sharing/touching of others golf equipment.
  • If at all possible please refrain from carpooling with friends/other participants.
  • No touching of shared golf course objects such as flag sticks, tee markers, ball washers, etc.
  • All players will keep their own score and the score of everyone in their own group.

We also encourage the use of paying by check versus exchanging cash. If you have not sent in your registration please try to do so prior to the first event. Registration can be mailed, emailed, or dropped off to Betsy Hackworth ( 15030 Flag City Dr., Findlay, OH 45840.

Please keep in mind this is a learning process for us all and we expect the best behavior from our players. Any action that violates basic social distancing guidelines not only puts yourself and others at risk but may warrant disqualification.

We look forward to our 46th season of promoting junior golf in Hancock County. Any suggestions or concerns will be welcomed and can be directed to Betsy Hackworth or Eli Stacy.
